The MMS Fellowship Nite was held on the 9th December, 2007 (Saturday) at Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort, (opposite the Bukit Kiara Science Centre). The theme of the Fellowship Nite 2007 was “Reminiscing the Sixties” and both members and non-members were encouraged to dress for the sixties. Mdm Lisa Lum, Elaine Leong and Mdm. N. Sakunthala had put in a lot of effort to organise this event for the participants and it was going to be a night to remember.

The function started at 7pm. The guests were guided to Level 1 of Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort for registration as well as the place where food was served. At Level 2, the guests were able to lounge and enjoy their food at round tables, while at Level 3, the dance floor was situation, awaiting for the guests to spend most of the night twisting, jerking and ah go-going to the music of the sixties. .

As expected some members and their friends came dressed according to the theme of the night "back to the sixties" and brought along their favourite karaoke CD. They were getting ready to put on their dancing shoes. There were 16 contestants taking part in the "back to the sixties" fashion show. Some, very sporting members, even danced to the “ah go go” music during their catwalk. This event truly walked us ‘down memory lane’ during which time we reminisced our younger days. One of the MMS members Ms. Jennifer was the winner of the theme of the night "back to the sixties". She had actually dug into the bottom of her wardrobe to find the appropriate clothing, handbag and shoes which reminded her of the good old days.

Many MMS members participated in the balloon dance, tooth picks shaking, and treasure hunt games. The response from the members was very entertaining. The atmosphere was full of laughter, fun and excitement. Furthermore, some members who were inhibited and merry making performed the line dance. This added to the party spirit and the lobby with open space was vibrating with music and enjoyment. To keep the party mood going the members were also entertained by the regular karaoke singers. Gifts were given to the winners of the catwalk fashion show, games and lucky draw.

The MMS president, Dr. Liew Fah Onn, presented a letter of appreciation to Merck Malaysia who had kindly contributed towards the ten gifts for the lucky draw. Finally, like all go things, the Fellowship Nite 2007 closed to an end at 11.00 p.m. as the following day was a working day.
