Welcome to the new and exciting Berita Menopos!

Apart from having a fresh new design, we have also revamped our content, streamlining it into easy-to-read sections for one and all. You now have the option of reading the entire newsletter from cover to cover, or jump to a selected section based on different coloured tabs.

Here’s a simple guide to the three main sections:

Medical Updates – Latest medical advancements and breakthroughs, exciting announcements and clinical trial reports, global and national news, everything doctors and healthcare practitioners need to know to stay in the forefront of menopause issues.

Menopause and More – Cutting through the jargon with lifestyle-oriented tips and articles for everyone who will encounter menopause in some way at some point of their lives, whether for their own knowledge or a loved one.

Member Zone – Announcements, reports and more, just for MMS members to stay informed and actively involved. Join the MMS family and make this your favourite section!

Not only that, we have dedicated each issue to specific themes for added emphasis on selected issues. For our first issue, our theme is “Life After Menopause – What’s Next?”. For this theme, we have lined up articles which touch on quality of life, self-esteem, family life, career, wellness, nutrition, even beauty. We hope these articles will help you find relief and comfort in your everyday routine.

It’s important to know that menopause affects people differently and no one method will work for everyone. As such, you need not feel bad if your symptoms are more severe than others, as each woman’s body reacts differently to the changes brought about by menopause. Having severe symptoms such as being temperamental or emotional does not indicate poor character or inner strength.

More important is knowing that there is help available if your menopausal symptoms are bothering you. Speak to your doctor today about your menopause to end any unnecessary suffering.
