Dear Members & Partners in the Care and Management of Menopause,

The Ex-Co is now planning for the non-election Annual General Meeting in April 2008. Do mark your calendar and keep that date free. We appreciate your attendance and support for all our activities. After all, activities are planned for members’ benefit.

The Fellowship Nite was very well attended and organized in particular by our Ex-Co Ms. Lisa Lum and Ms. Sakuntala. We are thankful to Merck (M) Sdn. Bhd. for supporting this event. For members who missed this, do attend next year’s.

All of our collaborative and sponsored talks had been very well attended.

It is heartening to have heard many good comments about our Berita Menopos. We also appreciate constructive comments on improving. All comments and criticisms will be appreciated and treated with strict confidence. We look forward to contributors of material and articles for the Berita.

The Ex-Co is still slowly but surely updating our entire database of our members. We are now certain of our list of members-in-benefit and life members. We will soon be contacting members in arrears to rectify their status.

At all our events, there had been new members applying. This reflects the positive response from our own members who recruit their friends and relatives to join us. This is encouraging.

The Ex-Co is working very hard to come out with Menopause Training and Credentialling modules for Doctors and non-doctors.

We are also working on recommendations for the latest Menopause Guidelines for Malaysia. In the light of new clinical data, the last issue from the Ministry of Health is now considered inaccurate.
